Smile With Yoga
The NSS Cell of Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, Dwarka has successfully conducted the first day of the event "Smile With Yoga" on 29/04/22. The volunteers of all NSS units have participated in the event under the guidance of Dr Bhakti. We started at 9:15 AM with the prayer and continued further with 3 asanas, Tadasana, Side Bending Chakrasana and Vrikshasana and the session was concluded with the chanting of Shanti Path.The session was energy boosting and positivity enhancing.
Sehyog
The NSS Cell of Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, Dwarka, Delhi organised Sehyog Day- 2. Sehyog is a clothes distribution drive organized by NSS cell and Rotract club of TIPS every season to distribute clothes to the needy people. Today i.e 03 may 2022, very auspicious day Akshay Tritiya and Eid ul Fitr, it was conducted from 2:00-3:00 pm in Kamal Public School, Vikaspuri. There were 12 volunteers who distributed the summer clothes to the needy people and children present there.
NSS volunteers who were present there are Prachi, Purnima, Priyansh, Vaibhav, Diya Sharma, Gauri, Bhavya, Manish, Mayank, Yuvraj, Stuti and Jayank Including Faculty incharge Dr Aparna. The volunteers were extremely happy and satisfied to be able to make a difference in someone’s life with these little efforts of theirs .
Blood Donation Camp
NSS Cell in association with Rotract club and BVP organized a blood donation camp and health checkup on 4th May 2022 in coordination with Rotary blood bank & Fortis hospital. More than 80 students volunteered for the blood donation out of which 52 donated successfully. The faculty, staff, and volunteers joined this noble cause enthusiastically.
Republic Day Celebration
Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, Dwarka organized Republic Day celebration on 26th January 2022 at 12:30 PM via Zoom Platform.Dr. B.P. Singh commenced the celebration with a melodious song and thereafter Dr. R.K. Tandon (Chairman, TIPS), Dr. Barkha Bahl (Director, TIPS) and Dr. Shashi Bala (Principal, Law) were invited to deliver speeches honouring the architects of modern India.There was an online flag hoisting session as well. The students were also invited to showcase their talent such as dance, music etc. The event was hosted by Purnima and Mitali.After the performances of students, the program was concluded by the national anthem and a vote of thanks by Dr. Aparna Chaturvedi. The event was a great success and filled the participants with great patriotism.

Awareness programme on Environment Protection
Student members of the Environmental Law Centre (ELC) along with Mr. Abhishek Sharma went to the City Centre, Dwarka for an "Awareness programme on Environment Protection" on 23rd March 2020. The purpose of the programme was to create awareness among citizens about their fundamental duty to protect the environment, especially more so now given the covid-19 pandemic. People participated with the students with great enthusiasm and took a pledge that they will dispose the disposable masks properly. The programme included the questionnaire survey, interviews while the students also distributed the reusable masks among the underprivileged members of the society and made them aware about the benefits of such masks.
Awareness Campaign on Women's Health, Safety and Hygiene
National Social Service (NSS)Cell TIPS Organized "Awareness Campaign on Women's Health, Safety and Hygiene" on account of International Women's Day on 9th March 2021, at Indra Camp Adopted Village. Dr.R.K.Tandon, Chairman, Tips, welcomed the volunteers and motivated the volunteers with his energetic words. The Food was distributed by Dr.R.K.Tandon, Lt.Dr.Anitha.G, Program Officer along with the NSS Volunteers. The Safety and Hygiene kit was distributed by Dr.Reema Tandon, Vice ChairPerson, Lt.Dr.Anitha.G Program Officer along with the NSS Volunteers. Nidhi Bhardwaj and Purnima Chhabra. All the activities took place successfully. The volunteers interacted with all the lovely and bright women and children present during the event to understand their future needs. Our teams were successful in imparting the knowledge and understanding that we aimed to spread.
NSS Orientation Programme
Trinity Institute of Professional Studies under the aegis of IQAC organised NSS Orientation Programme on 10th February 2021 from 02:00 pm onwards for all the programme students. The Chief Guest Dr.BVR Reddy, Professor USIC & T, Co-Ordinator NSS & NCC, GGSIPU, motivated the students to join NSS and briefed them about the various activities, camps, achievements, and their benefits. The session was informative and various student's queries were clarified. This was followed by experience sharing by the GGSIPU senior NSS volunteers. The session provided the student's insights towards contributing to the society
Blood Donation Camp
SEVARTH, the Social Welfare Society under the aegis of IQAC, Trinity Institute of Professionl Studies (TIPS), affiliated to GGSIPU organized a Blood Donation Camp in association with Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP), Swami Vivekananda Branch and Tarak Hospital Blood Bank The camp began on an auspicious note with the lighting of the lamp in the multi-purpose hall,TIPS. The dignitaries included Shri. Jai Prakash Tomar, Member of Khadi and Village Industries Commission, Shri. Suresh Jain, National Organizing Secretary, BVP, Shri. Arun Jain, President Delhi State (West) BVP, Ms. Ritu Sharma, a well-known social activist and Dr. Mangal Singh, Director, Blood Bank Tarak Hospital. The dignitaries were felicitated with a sapling and a shawl by Dr. R.K. Tandon, Chairman TIPS, Dr. Barkha Bahl, Director TIPS and Dr. K.K. Geetha, Principal (Law). Following the felicitation, Dr. Barkha Bahl addressed the gathering and stressed on the act of donating blood as the noblest contribution and the benefits of donating blood. Thereafter, Dr. R.K. Tandon graced the stage and in his speech, he emphasized on the fact that blood can be a life savior in emergency situations as well as in the case of chronic health issues for people. His speech was followed by that of the eminent guests including Shri. Jai Prakash Tomar whereby he motivated everyone to come forward for the noble cause. The session was followed by a vote of thanks by Dr. K.K. Geetha, whereby she expressed her gratitude towards the eminent guests for gracing the event with their presence as well as the donors for their contribution. Thereafter, everyone proceeded towards the camp to initiate the act of blood donation. It was initiated by faculty members of TIPS and thereafter, students from various courses came forward to contribute to the noble cause. Enthused with the belief that “a little effort can give others a second chance to live life”, an enthusiastic willingness could be seen among the donors. There was an overwhelming response from students and other donors. The Tarak Hospital Blood bank collected a total of 85 units and some units were rejected due to various reasons. The donors were provided with donor certificate, mugs and refreshment as tokens of gratitude. The camp was highly successful as it provided a platform for people to come forward for a humanitarian cause and kindled a spirit of kindness among them.
Today 20 students of the Law Department attended the Lok Adalat at the Dwarka Court. It was organised by the DLSA South West District. The students got the opportunity to attend hearings related to Family and Financial disputes. There was also an interaction session with Mr.Narottam Kaushal, District and Sessions Judge. It was an enriching session for the law students motivating them towards future in Judiciary Service.Mr Jagmohan Singh Secretary DLSA South west district had given the opportunity to Trinity Students to participate in Lok Adalat and we are thankful to the efforts taken by him
BLOOD DONATION CAMP IN ASSOCIATION WITH ROTARY BLOOD BANK
Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, (TIPS), Dwarka functioning under the aegis of KEWS, affiliated to GGSIPU, Delhi successfully organized a Blood donation camp on October 30, 2018 in the college premises in association with Rotary Blood Bank. The camp was an initiative of SEVARTH-the social club of TIPS. The Blood Donation Camp began with the inauguration by Mahesh Gupta, President, Rotary Club of New Delhi, Prashant Sahgal, Past President Rotary Club of New Delhi, Vimal Gupta, Past President Rotary Club of New Delhi, Parveen Jain, Secretary Rotary Club of New Delhi and Dr. Amit K. Singh, Rotary Blood Bank. Dr. R. K. Tandon, Chairman TIPS and Dr. Vikas Rao Vadi, Director TIPS felicitated the guests with saplings. The camp started at 10:00 am in the morning and continued till 04:00 pm witnessing a large number of students coming forward to donate blood and be a part of such a noble activity. Along with the bunch of enthusiastic students, Dr. R. K. Tandon, Chairman TIPS Dwarka and faculty members also came to support this cause of serving the humanity. “One doesn’t need resources to help someone but it takes will power and few drops of healthy blood to save the lives of people”, said Dr. R. K Tandon , Chairman, TIPS. He also shared the story of Bill Gates and a newspaper hawker for enlightening the students and teachers of the Institute. Welcoming the august gathering, Dr. Vikas Rao Vadi, Director, TIPS expressed gratitude to all for their esteemed presence and also highlighted the value of this life saving cause. Speaking on the occasion, Mahesh Gupta, President, Rotary Club of New Delhi congratulated the people who came up to donate blood, realizing their responsibility towards the needs of the society. Prashant Sahgal, Past President Rotary Club of New Delhi delivered his words of wisdom and motivated the donors for their initiative. He also expressed how important it is to organise such camps to save lives which are often lost due to non availability of blood at the right moment. The Rotary Blood Bank diligently collected a total of 82 units of blood and 31 were rejected due to various reasons. The Donors were provided with Donor Certificates, medals and a Donor Card, which will be valid for One Year. Also, fruit juice, biscuits and bananas were offered to blood donors as refreshments.
MOCK PRESS CONFERENCE ON INDIAN PREMIER LEAGUE 2019
Students of Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of TIPS Dwarka organised a Mock Press Conference on IPL 2019, in the Multi purpose hall on Saturday, 6 April, 2019. This is a part of their curriculum, for which students of second year will be marked for their subject Public Relations Lab. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Vikas Rao Vadi, Director TIPS, Chief Coordinators of both the shifts, who were felicitated with the Press Kits, and other dignitaries. The 2019 IPL Press Conference was about launch of a new team in IPL and change in the line-ups of few teams. The students of both the shifts were divided into different departments; Public Relations team, Journalist team, Venue team, Budget teams etc. The event was addressed by Chairman of BCCI, Archana Malik, Chairman of IPL, Harshit Wadhwa, spokesperson IPL, Utkarsh Raj, Owner of Delhi Capitals, Abhishek Gaur, and the owner of the new team. In all the event was a huge success.
PEACE MARCH FROM TIPS TO ARMY CHOWK
Trinity Institute Of Professional Studies organised a peaceful march for the martyrs of Pulwama attack. Dr Vikas Rao Vadi, Director TIPS & Dr.K.K.Geetha, Director Law briefed the students the importance of this march and applauded them for the initiative. The Institute already took permission from SHO for conducting this march. 40 students and 8 faculties participated in the peace march. The march started around 2 PM from Trinity Institute Of Professional Studies to Army chowk sector 5. Two Minute silence was observed at the Army Chowk for the Martyrs.

Ek Pehel - Behtar Kal ki Aur” an initative in association with India Vision Foundation, NGO of IPS Officer Dr. Kiran Bedi.This initiative was organised to work for people who do not have access to proper education, sanitation, and other basic needs.The venue for the event is Ashadeep Foundation School. The event had some learning and fun activities for Prisoner’s children like career counselling, special session of art of living, Nukkad Natak on Swachh Bharat.

Vittiya Saksharta Abhiyan (VISAKA)

To make India shift from cash dependent economically digital and to make our country to cashless economy. The work was done under Vittiya Saksharta Abhiyan which was headed by Ministry of Human Resource and Development. A documentary was made with the subject ‘A step towards Digital India’, which was shot in 20 villages of UP and Delhi/NCR.
