How to Apply GGSIPU CET 2025 Online

IPU CET 2025 APPLICATION PROCESS
 
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) conducts the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2025, a university-level exam for admissions into various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The application process is completely online, requiring candidates to fill out the registration form, upload necessary documents, pay the application fee, and appear for the entrance test. Candidates seeking admission to programs like BBA, B. Com (Hons.), BA LLB, BCA, and BA (JMC) must follow the CET registration guidelines to ensure successful enrolment.
To apply for IPU CET 2025, candidates must visit the official university website www.ipu.ac.in or ipu.admissions.nic.in and complete the online registration process. The application form will be available from February 1, 2025, and the last date to apply is March 31, 2025 for CET-based courses, while the deadlines for National Level Test (NLT) based admissions (JEE Main, NEET UG, CLAT, CUET) may vary.
 
IPU CET 2025 Reservation Policy for Delhi & Outside Delhi Candidates
GGSIPU follows a regional reservation policy for admissions to affiliated colleges and institutes based on the candidate’s location of schooling. The reservation categories are divided into Delhi Region (85%) and Outside Delhi Region (15%).
1. Delhi Region Candidates (85% Seats Reserved)
  • Candidates who have completed Class 12 from any school/institute located in the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi are eligible for Delhi Region Quota.
  • 85% of the total seats in GGSIPU-affiliated colleges are reserved for candidates from Delhi.
  • Admission will be based on IPU CET 2025 rank or National Level Test (NLT) scores, depending on the course.
2. Outside Delhi Region Candidates (15% Seats Reserved)
  • Candidates who have completed Class 12 from a school located outside Delhi will be considered under the Outside Delhi Region Quota.
  • 15% of the total seats in GGSIPU-affiliated colleges are reserved for candidates outside Delhi.
  • Admissions will be based on IPU CET 2025 merit or relevant NLT scores.
3. Other Reservations Applicable
  • SC/ST/OBC Reservations – As per the rules of the Government of NCT of Delhi.
  • EWS Category – A certain percentage of seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
  • Defence Category Quota – Reservation for children of Defence Personnel.
  • Persons with Disabilities (PwD) – 5% of the seats in each course are reserved for PwD candidates.
  • Single Girl Child Quota – Certain seats are reserved for single girl child applicants in some programs.
Candidates must provide valid documents at the time of counselling to avail reservations.
 
IPU CET 2025 Registration Procedure
The registration process for IPU CET 2025 involves several steps, and candidates should ensure they have all required documents before starting the application.
Step-by-Step Application Process:
  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to www.ipu.ac.in or ipu.admissions.nic.in and click on “IPU CET 2025 Application Form.”
  2. New User Registration: Enter basic details like name, email ID, mobile number, and create a password. After successful registration, a unique application number will be generated.
  3. Filling the Application Form: Enter personal details (name, date of birth, gender, category, address), academic qualifications (Class 10 and 12 scores), and the desired course.
  4. Select Course: Choose the correct program and corresponding CET code (if applicable). Ensure that all selections are accurate, as changes may not be permitted later.
  5. Upload Required Documents: Candidates must upload scanned copies of the following in the specified formats:

IPU CET 2025 Payment Process
Once the registration is completed, candidates must pay the application fee to finalize their application.

IPU CET 2025 Test Paper & Marking Scheme
The IPU CET 2025 exam follows a structured pattern based on the program applied for. The general exam format is:
  • Mode of Exam: Will be notified later by GGSIPU
  • Duration: 2.5 hours (150 minutes)
  • Total Questions: 100 (For most programs)
  • Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
  • Total Marks: 400
 
Marking Scheme:
  • +4 marks for each correct answer
  • -1 mark for each incorrect answer
  • 0 marks for unanswered questions
 
Exam Syllabus Based on Course:
  • BBA & B.Com (Hons.): English Language & Comprehension, General Awareness, Logical & Anlytical Reasoning, Aptitude relating to the field of Management & Communication
  • B.Com (Hons.): General English, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, General Awareness
  • BCA: English Language & Comprehension, Mathematics, Computer Awareness, General Knowledge – IT and Science Related
  • BA (JMC): English Language & Comprehension, General Awareness, Reasoning, Media Aptitude
