PREVENTION OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT COMMITTEE

Update Required in the Committee Introduction: As per the guidelines of UGC, Prevention of Sexual Harassment Committee is setup in the institution. The motive of the committee is to conduct awareness programs for the students with the aim to evolve a mechanism for the prevention and redressal of sexual harassment cases or any acts of gender-based discrimination in the institution premises. The Committee is to ensure:

  • Implementation of the policy in letter and spirit in making the campus safe through proper reporting of complaints and procedures of follow up.
  • Provide a gender-based discrimination free environment.
  • Ensure equal access and opportunities in all activities of college.
  • Create a secure physical and social environment which will deter all acts of sexual harassment.
  • Promote a social and psychological environment that will raise awareness about acts of sexual harassment in its various forms.
